Been hearing this for a while now:
Upon shifting my 2002 atx ZX3 into reverse or drive,I hear a click.
Sometimes only once,sometimes twice.....
I thought it was my dog bone mount, replaced it with a VF Engineering mount (very nice!) and the problem is still there.
The noise is at the drivers side front tire.
Sometimes I can also hear the noise when letting off the gas.
I'm guessing its the axle or cv?
Can someone steer Me in the right direction?
The noise is not there upon turning the wheel though.....
Used the search and came up with nothing.
Help appreciated!
Thanks-DC

From what I have been reading online, this would seem to be the drivers side CV AXLE.
Does anyone know the symptoms of a failing cv axle?
