Black leather steering wheel listed for 2002-2004 Ford Focus SVT models. A discontinued part from the manufacturer. We only removed the plastic wrap around the grip section of the wheel for the photos.

Sure is dirty for a "new" steering wheel. What happened?

I was wondering the same...
Possibly someone might have "swapped" theirs [old-one] into this box and ran off with the new one...

I have had this happen before... bought something new & found an "old item" instead of the new one.

The steering wheel shows no evidence of use or being mounted. The factory green thread lock is still on the airbag module mounting screws. Ford did not vacuum wrap the wheels only wrapping the grip from the outside and placing them in a bag into the box. The box is dated from the packager in 2008.
