Im getting ready to swap the head in my SPI and I have a few questions.

is there any big problems I will encounter when removing the existing head like
frozen exhaust bolts etc........

Would it be a good idea to chase the headbolt threads with a tap/chaser or is that not really necessary ?

The procedure for torquing the head has 2 series of tightening the bolts 1/4 turn. Whats the best way of being sure I go exactly 1/4 turn it seems kind of arbitrary.
