2000 ford focus sedan is it possible to remove side skirts? I looked in the * * * * C o m p l e t e ' H o w T o ' A r c h i v e * * * * couldn't seem to find any thing maybe I was looking for the wrong thing? When I say side skirts I mean the trim piece that runs under both doors.

Moved you to the MK1 focus area.

The plastic skirts can be removed. I'm not sure how exactly someone here can likely be of more help. It also depends on the type how they will be removed.

I'm trying to replace them with standard OEM both of mine are very rusted out right on the bottom it looks horrible. I would try and look my self unfortunately its about 30 degrees out side.

Steel isn't a side skirt or trim piece, that's part of the unibody frame (rocker panel).
