This may be a odd question but Ill be getting a focus wagon soon and I've always wanted to get into doing mods on cars and I would wanna start with coil overs and wheels as one of the first ones. Think is I don't see any builds on this model do the coil overs for the sedans fit the wagon as well? what are my options when it comes to this?

For the front most likely yes. I'm pretty sure the rear setup was unique to the wagon
There's a wagon kit here... seems expensive tho

You can get lowering springs for $1k less than that, it just depends on your goals

Would I have to worry about anything else being messed up by lowering springs suspension wise?

No, you'll just need an alignment after and should be mindful if you slam the car, you'll need to figure out how to get camber back in spec (it's non-adjustable stock).

The biggest challenge is going to be finding parts for the rear, the wagon is unique. You may have to look around Europe since they had a wider wagon (estate) offering including the ST170.

I think I just wanna get rid of the wheel gap for now so springs may be my best bet I suppose

Agreed - Don't forget dampers too or the stock ones won't last long on lowering springs.

Coilovers are great, but say if your budget is $500... springs and better dampers at that price will be far better than any coilover close to that price range.

I did not have a specific budget but I did not wanna get myself into more than I could handle considering this car would be my daily driver. Are there any springs and dampaners you would suggest

You're unfortunately limited with the wagon, without trying to mix and match parts. Looking quick, this is what I would suggest to get you down ~1.5" and not be overly harsh:

Dampers are tough. I can find some decent front ones (KYB AGX) at Tire Rack, but they only have GR-2s for the back.

Nothing unreliable at all about quality springs and good dampers. If you drive on terrible roads that would be a bigger concern (if you want your car any lower / stiffer), but there's nothing that will cause reliability issues if you install those parts correctly.
