I am having a problem with my 2000 focus headlights. The headlight went out after about a month of replacing it. The bulb looks perfect but it just isn't on. It's the drivers side headlight. Any ideas on how to fix it?
May be a fuse. There are 4 for the headlamps (ridiculous I know).
Fuse #'s 16, 17, 26 and 27 should be checked, all in the underhood fuse compartment, also on page 173 of the owners manual, which if you don't have can be acquired here for free --> http://www.focusfanatics.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2280
I checked all the fuses, they were all fine. I may replace them just in case? But, they looked perfect. Switched the lights from one side to another, and it was still only the drivers side.
Anything easy to check on? or should I take it in somewhere?
Update:
I checked the fog lights too. They work fine, just the headlight doesn't work. I don't know if that will make a difference in an answer, but FYI.
