I see the 2000 Zetec auto trans holds a total of 7 quarts, anyone know how many it takes with a trans pan drop/filter replacement? I do not want to flush the trans but only replace what comes out while dropping the pan. I will be using Mercon V.

Roughly half the total capacity for a pan drop change...

Splurge & buy 5 so you don't come up short... (grin)
