Could someone tell what size socket I need to remove the spark plugs in a 2.3L?
Of course the manual I have doesn't specify...

5/8 inch.

They have swivel socket spark plug extensions. has a rubber o-ring inside, and possible magnetized to grab the plug and prevent damage.

I got mine for like $6...
made installation a breeze.

No wonder I couldn't seem to get a good fit with the metric set!
I may even have a 5/8 spark plucg socket from use with my previous cars, but it just didn't occur to me, everything else I've played with under the hood was metric.
BTW, not related, but I got my K&N Typhoon in over the weekend. Nice sound and a bit more pick up...
