Im looking into purchasing some of the SES 15 spoke wheels from the 09-11 models. I was really just wondering if anyone knows if they will fit the stock brakes and suspension on an 08.

Also how low has anyone gone with 17" wheels? If I got lowering springs how low could I comfortably go with no rubbing or fender pulling.

Yes they will fit, it's the exact same car so there is no reason why they wouldn't.

Also, to go low enough for needing fender modification, you would need adjustable coilovers. Currently, there are no lowering springs specific to the car that lower it enough that you can't use OE sized wheels/tires unless you're some kind of idiot and decide to cut springs to go lower.

Just a thought, this info is very basic and easy to find on this site. You might consider learning a bit more about what you have before you go hacking away at your fenders.

So going with the 17" wheels with either of the H&R lowering springs will fit, with no modification.

Moved to "Wheels & Tires". And yes, they will fit even with the H&R springs. But your best bet is to get struts and shocks that are matched to those springs as well. If you don't, you will wear out your stock struts and shocks much quicker.

Figure it this way, it's a stock size (when using stock offset wheels) so when using stock sized tires it can go through the whole range of possible movement without rubbing.
