ive seen 15.3s with all the mods equal to goat's...that was a stock tranny...the lentech trannys arnt going to make you any faster really, its just not going to slip..getin a torque converter/valvebody will be just as good unless your tranny is crappin out on you, but ya 14s is just as easily attained with an auto as is with a manual..with more consistant times
I had that question once can my car break into the 14's I had every bolt on SCT Tuned and kept running 15.3 15.2 I bought 24lb injectors and coolder plugs and went at it again 15.2 15.18. So after around 2.2k w/o labor. I Thought of other methods, I ordered from Batinc.net
which is a cosworth company a Power clutch, had a titanium flywheel cnc for a 4.7 lb fit (almost undriveable on the road) and went with a 4.11 Gear set and a limited slip lock plate. Once again it was tuned and i ran [email protected] (Goodyear drag tires with 15inch UL Rims)
Batinc.net claims to have a .5 to .9 increase in quarter mile time with 4.11 Euro gear set which is 140 rounded off but needs to be tuned with chip with axel rating on SCT. so after a lil over 4k without labor it finally did it. I would say boosting with 4.11 and tires might do the trick. With C-F-M.com selling the Power works for under 3400 i would say thats the best bet.
