I have an 09 SES coupe 5 speed that just recently I have had an issue with the gas pedal sticking. It seems to be when it gets pretty cold but it is starting to get annoying. I don't know if its a throttle body issue or what but with the car being drive by wire so I'm not sure what the issue could be. Has anyone else had this issue? Just wondering if there is something I can check or maybe something needs lubricated? Any help would be appreciated.

Let's get this in General Tech Chat first, better for most repair questions.

Now, yes it's "drive by wire" so the only place to investigate is the pedal assy. itself (and anything it might rub on).

Once you dive under the dash & check for any interference, you can then look at the assy. for any obvious problems (dirt/crud in the mech.) and try light lube on visible pivot.

If you don't see any obvious issues that are fixable, replacement is the answer.
