I was reading an old thread on here about how people have been having problems with their window seals getting pushed and sucked up into the top of the window frame area by the windows going up.

I got my windows tinted recently and the guy said it's because the seals are so tight.

Anyone know if there is a TSB for this?

TSB = Technical Service Bulletin ?

It has nothing to do with the tints specifically, they just happened to point it out to me when I had them done. I already knew about it though.

Just wondered if there was a fix or something?

Mine is constantly getting pinched. I've pulled it out a few times, and then when I look at it, it's randomly pinched again.

Was yours fixed once and for all?

this happens to me only only passenger side. I haven't taken it in because i don't have the time now to leave my car for the dealer to look at. I would imagine that the seal will have to be replaced when i do get the time to take it in.

Mine used to do this all the time but after I did some damage to it and took it to a body shop, the dude said he "heated" them to seal them better to the door. Andrew didn't you have a bad experience with heat??? I don't know any details but that was his exact word. They haven't gotten sucked up at all now.

So expensive to fix!

I just got a 2008 Ford Focus coupe, used, and I noticed the drivers window has issues with the rubber seal being squished wrong at the top, sucked into the door at the top of the window in places. I am trying to get a service center to replace it... they just quoted me $108.88 JUST FOR THE SEAL. What the heck? And I've read online that this is rather a common problem for Fords. I tried to heat it with a blow dryer after I pulled it out and tried to get it to settle down and fall into place right, but it didn't work. Looking like over $200 to replace one drivers side window seal. How crazy is that?

Talk about reviving a dead thread... This was 5 years old.

Just put a little lube in the upper seal and don't worry about it.

Sorry to "revive a dead thread", but as far as searching for answers online, all stuff remains and it seems that anyone could contribute more at any time. I just got the car, so it's all new to me, and I'm currently trying to find answers, that's all.
