Anyone know how, and or the size of the little light bubls in the 2008 focus that are over head for reading? I was thinking of replacing them with RED since my vents and underdash lights are red. Thanks in advanced

i have not had to change my bulbs yet... but just from looking around, the little center piece pops out pretty easily. the lights if i remember correctly pop out easy too. Bradwhite is the person to talk to, he knows alot abt the 08 focus

The center piece in the light pops out. Not the whole out line piece but the center box. Just take like a knife ( i used a pocket knife) and pop it out. From there you can see how the light bulb covering is held on and can unhook it to get to the bulbs. It took me about 3 minutes to get inside it to switch them out and that was from never having done it. End result with red bulbs is pretty sweet. If you need more help let me know and Ill gladly post a short How to.. for you.

Nope, I picked up red bulbs from AutoZone. I dont remeber the exact size off the top of my head. But it was a comon size that they had in red and blue and also white as an actual replacement.

The bulb is actually size 168/194 T10 bulb. That is NOT what is listed on the Sylvania website/guide. I found out the hard way. I just put some PIAA's in there and it looks great. I'll post an easy guide when I have some time.

I put the Xtreme White PIAA's 168/194 bulbs. The other Plasma PIAAs were too blue and I don't like that color. The Xtreme White looks great. I'll post some when I have a minute. I've also replaced the headlights with some Silverstars and also the front turn signals are Silverstar bulbs. FYI the headlights DO NOT need to be removed to do this, unlike the manual and other post suggest to. Also the license plate lights are B-1 Hybrid/Polarg bulbs, nice white light. I'll post pics later so you can see, it makes the white Focus look nice.

dreze how about that photo? haha. the bulb is 168 instead of the 3886x? how did you take the bulbs light without removing the headlight? ive replaced my fogs heads and turn signals so an easier way would be great to know.

and does it have to be a single led or can i get a multi one (idk about power issues here). my interior is hella dark with tinted windows and no backseat dome light.

may i sugest ditching the maplights and install light bars instead? much easier on the eyes. i got mine at Ikea, "Dioder" model. i got the white ones but theres RGB multicolor changing ones too.
