maybe black instead???

I was thinking more of a black grille...

my 08coupe is vista blue, and i want to do a black grille, and i was even thinking of popin off the chrome piece and painting it black lol but i need some advice on what to do so i dont screw it up.
-i was able to find a website that sells grill mesh, and i actually found a pattern that i'd like, and it also come in black!

also some advice on where to find "blackout head and tail lights" for the 08' model. maybe even if theres a do it yourself technique, possibly paint them also??

I'm so sorry I missed your post above missjess88. You've probably completed all you wanted to do by now, but if you haven't let me know. I can tell you how to do everything you were asking about.

here is mine... no where near the greatness as brads, but... it'll do for a while. i can't solder worth a crap so its kinda bad... will have pics of the bottom grill tomorow...

Walmart has the chrome door trim for around $8.69.

Lowes has large sheets, I mean really large! I'd rather have a uniform piece than chopping things up here and there -- makes it look ugly.

I think 9 feet by 2 feet is more than enough lol Buy two sheets, now you have all the mesh you need, plus it is uniform! Be careful THEY CUT YOU, wear gloves!
