No they will not fit! the strut tube is too big to fit in the '01 spindle.

I thought it was '05 personally, but I could be wrong.. theres only one way to be sure, try it!

Same part # for front struts 2000-2007. Just looked it up.

Why would you want to put them on your 01?

it will not fit, i bought some saleen springs and oem struts from a friend of mine that has an o5 and the and the diameter of the 05 struts were smaller than my 07's spindles, i had to get the omni kit from massive in order to use the 05 struts.

The ones in the 01 will need replacing. Was just trying to be thrifty. I thought they diameter was different but I wanted to see what the internet said first.

The strut diameter is bigger from '06+. The tapered ball joint stud is bigger on '05+. That make's the '05 spindle special= take's '00-'04 strut's & '06+ ball joint's.
