Hello to all, new to the forum and Focus in general.
I have a 05 Focus ZX5 SES auto. The problem I am having is I just got done putting the car back together after a trans install, and the car will not turn over. The dash lights up and the security light operates properly. The gas warning light goes out when I attempt to start, and it makes a weird chime sound when I return the key to position 3.
When putting the starter back in, I noticed there was no ignition wire to the solenoid, just the fat red power wire that travels through the starter to the alternator. Is the normal? I do no remember seeing a wire earlier.
