To Juice or Not To Juice? That Is The Question.

What if I do it the easy way and spray him?[hihi]
What is the best juice kit I can buy 75-shot? & If I get bigger injectors, high flow fuel rail, high flow fuel pump and bigger maf - could the motor handle a 100-shot?[bash]
If so, could I have a chance @ my other friends stock STi? [pray]

both, everything and all of it is bogus, youd be safer shooting speedholes onto the hood and block for cooling, Zetecs have been known to handle 75 shots but i wouldnt push mine passed a 50 shot, you really should take your time and do basic bolt ons first, and then go from there

bolt-ons r good and that's full-time power....but with nitrous i know i can get my car into the hi13s/lo14s (75shot). Just weighing my options at the moment. Maybe Juice first Bolt-Ons Later. I can't go wrong with the bottle $750 vs $750 in bolt-ons - which is what: Race Header/Flexpipe/Exhaust & maybde a knock-off cai.

NOS is no excuse for not having a well engieered motor. Even if somebody elses focus has taken a seventy-five shot whats to say yours will. I wouldn't recommend spraying that poor zetec unless you've replaced you cast pistons with forged ones. Not to mention the strain on your clutch, transmision and most importantly fuel injectors. Even with an after market fuel injector if it sputters when you spray the temporary "light" condition created within your cylinder head could cause extreme, piston melting, heat that could do irreprible damage to you potential packed Zetec motor. But if you do decide to spray, I wish you the best of luck, and like mo said take pictures of the damage

okay...i'll take pics. But remember that Muscle Mustangs & Fast Fords - Project Car: ZX5 - automatic & short ram intake ran a [email protected] Then w/ a 75shot NX "Wet" System [email protected] mph. So I don't what you're talkin' 'bout. I got an intake, 4.06 Gears, and Nitto Drag Radials and my car is lighter - rear seat delete & no spare.

I've used spray before on the ultimate sleeper a '95 Escort Wagon 3spd Auto. 50-shot I ran consistent mid 15s w/ minor bolt-ons. But, the autos didn't like it - one came with the car lasted about 8months w// juice - turned in 5spd auto 2. brand new tranny lasted 6 months - could go no faster than 35mph. 5spd swap no problems.

Original Motor - no problems ever - over 400,000mi before i donated the car.

First off, MM&FF used a pro driver to run there car, I know him so beleive it.

Second, the car barely got a 14.92, with a pro driver.

How do you have 4.06 gears as one of your bolt ons, to install it requires a tranny overhaul. Not to mention not putting an LSD in also makes the gears almost a complete waste.

Go ahead and run a 75 shot on stock motor I will enjoy seeing the pics of your car on the track in flames! Think I am joking heres some pics for ya.

NOOOOOOOOO!!! That poor SVT. [:(]

Hey Focal, do you know the story behind what happened there? Or did you just pull that picture off the net?

So even with the upgraded internals of the SVT motor, pushing a 75 shot is asking for trouble? Not that I'm planning on it, [rolleyes] but it wouldn't hurt to learn more about nitrous for the future. I know a little bit about nitrous, but not a lot (OBVIOUSLY).

dont be numb to this advice these guys know what they are talking about... bolt ons first and THEN build the motor... and that is the only time i would even begin thinking about Nitrous Oxide. probably even after a turbo or sc.

The SVT internals have been a mystery for a long time. No one has come out and said that the SVT uses anything different than other zetecs. There have been rumors of stronger rods/pistons but these have been unsubstantiated.

We have seen that with a proper tune internally stock zetecs can make 200 whp.

Its the folks who just bolt on a nitrous kit and go that are in trouble.

Gotcha [thumb]

And ditto what Zarelli6 said: Focal, Kickn, Mofocus and others here know what they are talking about. Kids, you may have personality conflicts with them, but don't let that get in the way of seeing that they are almost always right about stuff like this. [paranoid]

Forget nitrous...go to the bank and get a loan to hook up your ride with some bolt ons and a good turbo. Then you'll laugh at nitrous oxide!! (hell, you may even be scared of it - lol...a turbo can make these cars pretty quick). That Meguiars drag Focus was a Zetec with a turbo and other bolt ons pushing out more than 800hp (I think at the wheels...damn fast!! 8.47 quarter mile...zero-60 would probably make you wet yourself).
Someone said it was dismantled and sold for parts, but it's still one of my favorate Foci. That's just insanity!!![80?]

I do have gears I installed them myself in school(Ford ASSET Program) I just didn't have enough $ 4 Gears. [:p]
I will purchase Juice because I want to and at the same time prove u wrong. So that SVT blew the motor due to improper tuning to bad 4 him but it won't happen to me.[paranoid]

& FocalTech[slap] u think u know so much
