I did some searching and I guess I'm not really finding the exact answer I'm looking for.
I was looking into replacing my rear brakes on the car as the drums are very very rusty (even for MN) and with some things I'm seeing there's a tone ring for the and system....did all models have the abs in the rear where you would need to swap out that tone ring or do some of them not?

Probably a stupid question but I figured it was worth asking.

Some cars came w/ abs & some didn't.

If your changing out the shoe's & drums, I don't think you'd need to deal w/ the abs tone ring. Checkout http://rockauto.com

IIRC the only Focus models from that year WITH ABS also had the rear discs. I know mine doesn't.

Look under the hood at the master cylinder area, if lines don't lead to an ABS unit you don't have it. Also you could look at any of the corners to look for wiring leading to the hub area - no sensors = no ABS.
