Good day y'all,

Last week I found a set of 2000-2004 focus 15" mags with good Winters on them for $100. So I took them without hesitation thinking it will fit..

Today I went to install them and the first wheel I tried to install (back) would not seat.

Is there a difference from the 2 models?

they are 15's. basically the same really. So I thought.

Just wondering if the drum is too rusted! I had to knock the wheel(no the ones I just got) off the car with a 2x4.

I have 16's and I had to do some work to get my back wheels off. have your tried a front wheel?

No I have not. But i did not have any problem getting the wheel I took off back on whereas the mag simply would not go in. Even by trying to screw the lugs in.

I am gonna try wire brushing the mag and drum..... Just remembered I had one for my drill....

Can you post pictures of the "mag" wheels you found. Maybe they were mistaken they fit on a focus and they went on an escort or something else?

The onlything i can see causing it not to fit on is maybe the center bore?

If the lug pattern is right? the center bore could be whats causing it not to slip on clean that really good on both the car and the wheel.

OK, got them on. they needed some cleaning up on both the hub and mag. PHEW.....

Its like the ones here in front. Missing the center caps tho on all four of mine.

Go to the local salvage yard they usualy have some caps, there is one around here that is pretty organized and i wanted caps and they let me go in the back and poke around in the wheel section and i found 4 really good matching caps. Make sure the metal ring is on the cap it holds the tention.

I just painted the set of split spokes i have. They are my winter wheels now.
