Hey, I have just bought an SCT 3015 from a local shop. He told me the 2012 Focus tune should be preloaded in, however i get ECU Unsupported. Could you offer me any help? It would be greatly appreciated!
Say hey Mike, To do datalog's, where & how far do I drive? & to configure for datalogging= 1 anolog input's yes/no? data view format? 0/ 0.0/ 0.00/ 0.000? The update's for the sct xcal 3000, what does that get me & do I have to redo to stock & then upload again or what? Thanx again for your time. My car run's great by the way, this flasher is a great product. I don't know why I bought the 87 octane option for= never used it= not worth it for me.
He blivit I still haven't come rite with those Pcm codes I wanna nos my st 170 with a 50 shot , do I need to retard timing ,tom is a bit out of my budget cos guys here haven't heard of him so they a bit sceptical , is there alternatives
Say, Mike can you tell me what is global spark, compared to the regular spark advance? What would I have to do to adjust the octane rating from 91 to 92? Or is it even worth it? I bought this SCT flasher from F/W's, & they had a choice of 91,93, & 94 for their regular tune's. There are people on this forum that say 92 from F/W in their sig. & is there a tune for their header & exhaust system too, as far more spark or something? Thanx again for your help!
My car run's alot better now! Before it had a slight stumble at 2000 rpm or so. Friday evening I was trying to set the tire rpm in the option's setup, & I got interupted a few time's by my wife, talking & wanting me to do a few thing's, so I stopped trying to program the tire rpm, 1 time I pulled the flasher out of the obd2 port, & had to reprogram the whole thing again, & surprised= no more stumble, it run's great. Now it has a high idle when coming to a stop= 1000 rpm then it settle's down, what could be doing that? It wasn't doing that before= the 1st tune or stock. Thanx again!
Say Mike, could you tell me what deleting the EGR get's you? As far as runablility w/ a working egr? They say it introduce's unmetered air into the motor, vs metered air via the MAF sensor. It seem's like the motor isn't smooth when cruising down the hi-way. Could that be that I haven't got my header yet? still waiting for. Thanx for your time=again!
I ordered a F/W's header,flex-pipe,stealth muffler, & 1 of their X3 flasher's, w/ EGR delete, rear oxygen sensor disabled, & 1 of their custom programing was a early fan activation. My car has 3 02 sensor's now, does the rear oxygen sensor disabled, delete the 2 rear sensor's? I beleive the 1st is to run the motor & the 2nd one is to monitor the converter, & the 3rd one, I don't know? Thanx again for your help!
