I will look forward to hearing your review on these once you do. TireRack has nothing but praise in the reviews so if I convince my wife to let me spend the money, I may be buying a set. After the storm in Dec., I definitely need something different. I have Michelin A/S 3+ and they were fine last winter but after 20K miles they are useless in the snow.<img src="http://www.focusfanatics.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_smile_shock.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Shocked" class="inlineimg" />
Are the A/S 3+ tires good during the summer months tho? Like quiet comfortable ride and good on mpgs?
Very quiet even when worn. The sidewalls are very stiff.

Now that we are past the winter season, did you ever get to try out these tires in snowy or icy conditions? I've been seriously considering them when I purchase my next set of tires.

Unfortunately the biggest snowfall we had came before I had these tires installed. They did just fine through some freezing rain, slush, and light snow. I have them on an extra set of wheels and they will be reinstalled on the vehicle when winter comes back. I wish I could tell you I had the opportunity to drive them in a couple feet of snow, but the opportunity just never came.

Thanks for the reply. I'm glad you didn't have to deal with major snow after getting the tires, because even if your tires did well, the car next to you may be driving on worn out slicks!
