Was asking about the clutch stack up in the KAAZ. The different stack ups you can do change the slipping of the LSD.

Sorry, understand. I got the 1.5 way, 12-plate Super Q version - looked like the best option for road racing without the semi-severe lock-up during decel.

That sounds like a great unit & the 1.5 ratio will work great.

I see you have MKII knuckles, are they the same geometry as MKI and would they drop straight in or are mods needed?

They are actually MKIII (2014 ST) knuckles. They have a different lower ball joint (bigger) and the hole for the strut is slightly larger. I made a sleeve to adapt MKI struts. The steering arms are different requiring a different tie rod. Since the splines in the MKIII hubs are different, this required new axles (MKIII MTX-75 trans), which are longer requiring a longer lower control arm. So...not exactly a drop-in. I detailed some of the mods in the earlier posts in this thread.

Awesome! Thanks for the info. I'm currently working on my MKI for stage rally and I hate that the MKI calipers bolt straight to the knuckle. Previous owner ruined the threads in the knuckle so it's getting replaced.

A few new parts

Got a few more parts in today. The rear bearings are to complete the conversion to 5-lugs. 67mm TB, Exedy Stage III. Getting closer!

Progress Update

Made a little progress. Karl (Massive) got me the shim I needed to finish installing the Kaaz LSD, so the transmission is ready to install. Yahoo,
