Thats a lot for wheel bearings... Glad your saving it. Most machine shops would be about $40-50 to press out and in a new bearing. it takes your down while your working it so need another vehicle but if you dont have a press (I bought a HF one for $150 and it has now more than paid for it self).

Love these cars. I have put a lot of love in saving my Yellow SVT I bought about 2.5 years ago.

I agree with your advice.............but.......here's what I did anyway:
1. I had to get at least one spring because one of the rears was rusted and broken in half........so I got the H&Rs. Love them.
2.The spacers were a lot of work because it needed extended lugs and YES........this was a waste of time but its done.
3. The struts were new.....NAPA brand but for $$$ sake we will just keep 'em
4. The t/b, t-stat housing and tensioners will come in a minute but I need a sticker and have to focus on some other things first

And admittedly, some of these things I just did for fun and not because it made sense.

I live in a condo with no storage space and no place to work. So I drive a good distance to a family members house to use their space. I tried to sand my hood the other day and a neighbor came out screaming; saying that I was getting dust on their car. I get it...but that my situation.

I'll go check out your profile to see if you talked about yours!
