OK how bad am I screwed on this one

2014 Focus SE 122,900 today about 5 miles from home transmission (6 Speed Auto Transmission DPS6) acting, revving high, not shifting up, get a warning " Transmission Fault Service Now", I stopped and checked to see if there was any bad smell from underneath. I was about 5 miles from home and just took it easy, then I got the above warning and after I pressed OK another one came up "Transmission overheating".
So wondering, am I out of luck getting this fixed via ford, or will it be me paying for it?

I could be wrong but it sounds like the TCM to me which if it is, is covered under warranty until 150k. i'd definitely get it to a dealer and checked out.

Edit: i meant TCM not PCM.

Taking in this morning. The TCM is covered up to 150000, but he said it also could be the clutch as well. Sounds like they want it to be the clutch so they can charge something.

Did they tell you want code was stored? If you haven't picked up the car yet, call them and ask them what codes are/were stored in the TCM. If you already picked up the car, there should be notes on your copy of the paperwork that includes the codes they retrieved. I'd like to know what the codes are. Something seems fishy here.

Not shifting and revving high are typically seen with shift motor failures and TCM failures.

Ok need your opinions on this one. Picked up my car this morning after they said they fixed it, drove 30 miles and it started slipping again. Got it back to the nearest town about 5 miles away. Ford towed it to there shop and now they are saying its the module that is shot, could this have been damaged while replacing the clutch, I feel it was.
