I haven't seen anyone report that a $400 tune fixed their shudder. Either new seals fixed it or an updated OEM calibration, but never an aftermarket tune. Injected was always very adamant that if you were having transmission issues that you needed to let your warranty and dealership fix it before trying to add performance.

OP, I owe you some rep when I get back to my computer

Since I have a 2014 with a clutch to be replaced, will the fix be the same as shown in this video? Or is there another video I should be watching?? I'm assuming I have brown seals since it's so new? I was told that Ford has went through 3 clutch companies and are still having issues with the clutch!

I have seen several posts contending this latest TSB is a true fix.

Shudder

Hi Guys I own a 2012 Focus SE Hatchback it has 22000 miles on it, it is a 6 speed Automatic sport version. When it was new it had a slight shudder in it but now my whole front end shakes when it shudders and it only does it when you first pull out after you stop. Is this a concern? I am very worried.

Thank you

I am under the impression LuK is the supplier of the DCT clutches and always has been. Anyone know if this is true?

Just got my car back from ford today. Shuddering and rattling is gone. They replaced the clutch and the seals in the transmission. Car drives great now

I hope the latest TSB fix works, but there's no guarantee. I fear new issues as well as the new clutch not lasting long.

Not t all , nothing is going to die , what I was saying was short of an oil leak most of the DCT issues seem to be calibration (ford tune) issues and not hard part issues

No, I didn't think anything was going to die. My point was that the oil leaks seem to the real heart of the problem and it doesn't make sense to say, we can fix it . . . except for the oil leak. My $.02 anyway.

I have done a few where it did cure all the trans issues they were having with a tune and why I was asking the OP why Ford doesnt cure these issues with calibration
