Following. Been to the dealer 3 times. They say they can't hear it. Even had the shop foreman ride with me. He said he heard it but it would be hard to recreate since the weight of the car in turns is what causes the problem and they can't recreate that on a lift.

So much for buying a CPO. I'll never do that again. I'd rather just have my regular mechanic deal with this.

I have been having issues with my focus and front end clunking noises when driving over bumps. I was directed towards your thread about this topic and was wondering if you came to a conclusion on the issue. I'm trying to figure out what the issue could possibly be before throwing money at the car. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Nope, Ford changed strut design to combat this... best option i have found, after replacing pretty much complete front suspension, was adding grease (used antiseize) to the inside of the jounce stop at top of strut shaft

I know I'm late to the thread, but question to Shade-010:

How do you access inside of the jounce stop? Does it involve disassembly?
