wire in to the parking lights circuit.

so i had $20 on my auto zone card. that i used to get some of them led lights that go under the dash. i would like to hard wire them to turn on and off with the head lights or the marker light rather, i manually turn them on and off. can i just tap in to the fuse box to do this ?. eather way i want them to turn on and off by them self switched source just rather not have them on in daytime.

what fuse can i tap in too im not going to cut any wires

Kind of like the Ambient Lighting feature that I assume your car is not optioned with? Maybe look at the wiring diagrams for that and see if the infrastructure is already there.

The switch pod for ambient lighting on my SEL is located on the headliner between the windshield and the dome light as seen in the photo below.

Other than that I would test for a switched circuit to tap into within the IPJB and use an auto relay and fused power from the UHJB positive to add any new electronics. Using existing circuits risks over loading them; however LED lights don't draw much power.
