Driver's Floormat or foot rest

Is there a place where you can get a floormat for just the driver's place that also covers the left-footrest area? My carpet is getting really messed up!
I even considered cutting a piece of carpet and gluing it to the bottom of the rubber mat to hold it in place.

All the floormats I've seen just cover the floor in front of the seat, and do nothing about that area where you rest your left foot.

The floormats for the passenger places the dealer threw in when I picked up the new car are fine, especially since I never have a passenger.

I'd rather not get the weather-tech mega-dollar floormats. Just ordinary all-weather mats should be fine.

Internet searches so far have not been successful for the needed driver's floormat, and most only sell the set of 4 mats.
thx

Buy a Ford focus dead pedal cover. I bought mine on ebay from China. It's stainless steel with rubber/plastic ribs and 3M tape on the back. I've had them in both my mk3 foci and they work great, protect the carpet and look good as well. The 3M tape sticks pretty securely to the carpet and I didn't clean it or anything, just a quick vacuum before sticking it on there. This is what I have:

You should just buy the WeatherTechs if you weren't able to find any other floormats that cover the foot rest area beside the pedals. Sure, they're more expensive than most brands, but everything I've seen about them say the cost is worth it.

I bought their sunshade two years ago and it is absolutely worth the premium over cheaper sunshades. The black reverse side that heats the interior while in sunlight has been wonderful now that it is starting to cold once again.

Edit: Or buy those dead pedal covers Coolzzy posted. Their comment wasn't up before I posted mine lol

I have the WeatherTechs and it only covers half the dead pedal. I find sand ends up falling down between the mat and the carpet. It's not very effective at protecting that area. I'm disappointed.

I've heard that the Husky molded mats go higher up on the dead pedal than WeatherTech but I haven't seen them in person. I've also read that they don't have the clips to keep them from moving like the OEM and WeatherTech. They also are a little more pliable which causes them to deform easier. Below is a good video that hightlights them >>

Check Craigslist for used ones. I bought my WeatherTechs for the front for $10.

I've seen some all weather rubber mats (like the OEM in the video) that have dead pedal coverage. There is a split in the mat that allows coverage to that part. These look like they would be decent >> TMB Motorsports All Weather Floor Mats for Ford Ford Focus 2011+. Here's another option at Walmart >> ToughPRO - FORD Focus 1st & 2nd Row Mats. You can sometimes find this style on Craigslist too; I've seen the OEM ones come up frequently for next to nothing.

I've used these Motor Trend branded mats on 4 cars so far, and been very happy with them, especially for less than $30 (which includes both front mats, rear mats, and cover for the rear "hump"). I used to get them for $30 - 40% (so less than $20) using a ubiquitous Advance Auto coupon code, but I don't think Advance carries them anymore.

Takes 30-40 minutes to cut them right. Are there better ones out there? Sure, any heavy custom-made rubber mats (like WeatherTech) are going to fit and look better. But these don't look bad, IMO, if you take the time to cut them right, and they hold up great. Just depends on your budget, I guess.

I bought mine oem and it didnt have that cutout for the dead pedal. That mat must have come out later than 2015.
Feeling like i got jipped because it absolutely needs it.

When I look these up on the Auto Nation parts website the pictures show both the old style and this new style. I wonder how you order and get the new style?

Weathertech floor liner is what you're looking for, not the all-weather mats.

I have them but the dead pedal does not have good coverage as stated. I'd recommend the Husky option over Weatertech for anyone who's asking.

That's a good point. I guess the only way would be to order them locally at the dealership or call them directly to confirm which ones will be shipped out.
