How to remove the fog light trim/housing to replace/install it on a 2018 Focus Titanium

Hi there, I bought a kit off of amazon that replaces the whole trim piece and adds DRL lights down there as well.

And I was wondering if anyone of you guys had tips on how to install them in a easy manner, as well as some of the wiring that needs to be done because there's quite a bit of them included. Also, am I going to need to lift the front end of the car up? Thanks!

They didnt come with instructions for the wiring?
For a hundred bucks i would have expected atleast rudimentary instructions.
The covers just pop off no need to go under the car for that(there are videos that can show you that).

I have that same kit installed since December 2016 and you'll have to lift the front-end for installation. My car comes with a turbo facing the radiator and I'd rather not have that wiring close to it and melt so I specifically routed the wiring away from the turbo. The passenger side LED's on mine reduced in brightness by ~50% sometime in 2018. Don't remember when exactly... I won't replace them until it completely fails.

The Amazon listing directly mentions how to wire them:

The existing bezels do snap off and you don't need to lift the front-end to install them, but the wiring you have to hookup should be a 'single' piece from the control module and can't be routed without going in from below. There should be connectors at the bezels you can disconnect to install them before getting at the wiring.

I have the control module stuffed under the airbox with the wiring under it as well to hide them as much as possible. The longer wire to the bezels is for the passenger side. Route that cable in front of the under-body cover clips under the radiator and bunch the excess cable with the driver side cable underneath the driver side fog light housing, or however you like.

I have the red wire on the positive battery connector and the black ground wire on the nut in front of the engine bay fuse box. The ground should be connected to something on the metal body for proper grounding.
I chose to tap the yellow wire to Fuse 36 (Active Grill Shutters). You should consult the manual to find a fuse that should only be active during engine-on so the LED bezels don't kill your battery. I believe the bezel control module open and closes the circuit to power the LEDs based on whether or not the yellow wire is energized to signify the engine is on.
I have the white wire to dim the LEDs un-connected and the exposed wiring wrapped in electrical tape. Ideally, you'd want to dim the bezel LEDs when the fog lights/headlights are on. But there isn't a fog light/headlight fuse to tap in the engine bay (Fuse 74 is for the Main Beam, and Fuse 75 is for the Front Fog lamps. Both are in the passenger compartment).

Thanks for the detailed reply but I had another question. My kit came with the amber turn signals as well, should I not bother with hooking them up? As the yellow wires that came with the kit aren't marked left or right from the control box.

I have no idea how to hook the turn signal feature up. You should definitely reach out to the seller about getting some instructions.

You'll have to splice those wires into the appropriate positive wire for each turn signal.
