Reoccouring grease spot?

Hi!
So I have a 2017 titanium sedan and this greasy spot keeps on popping up near my shifter. I clean it and it's gone for a week or so then it's back. Does anyone else have this?? I don't touch the area hardly at all so I know it's not from my hands.

Dunlap3,

Not sure why that spot keeps reappearing but you can slide under the car (put the front up on ramps) and look around the area of the body where the shifter enters the cabin to see if there's any 'stuff' seeping in. If that's clear then you have to get the shifter area apart to find the source. Luckily, there are threads in this forum that describe how to get the shifter area apart. Or, you can get a Haynes manual for twenty bucks and then you've got a handy reference for future work and some great reading for time in the "library".

HTH,

Chris
