Exhaust

I have a Ford Focus S 2.0 2014 , just wondering if anyone had installed an exhaust in there’s and what are the best options?? I found an exhaust that I love the sound of if anyone has this installed, let me know what exhaust you’ve installed and how they sound.

Are you actually in Australia? Or did you just pull up an Australian website? That's so expensive! I've seen the same kit listed for around $700.

FSWERKS Race exhaust is pretty popular and sounds similar to the Borla.

Yea man I am from Australia, I’ve seen this exhaust for around 800$AUD on other websites but it’s around 500-600$ in shipping alone.

Durso,

Got the 140400 Borla Touring exhaust on our '13 SE. Installation was not a big deal, it is easy to line stuff up and get lots of clearance in the tight spots. We've had it on the car for about a year. In fact, I just installed Cobb poly hangers a couple of weeks ago. Trust me, if you're going to put poly hangers on, do it during the exhaust install, lol.

The exhaust fits like a glove (as one would expect a Borla exhaust to fit) and it sounds fantastic through the RPM range. It is pretty deep (for a 4-cylinder engine), has a nice tone at idle, and produces no drone. FWIW, it weighs a few pounds less than the stock exhaust, too.

I used a chain exhaust tubing cutter but a Saws-all or a grinder will make quick work of the old exhaust.

Borla provides good installation instructions (including removal instructions for the stock exhaust).

It's a top-notch exhaust system.

Given the shipping costs, what about a local muffler shop making a custom exhaust?

HTH,

Chris

Hey Chris,

Thanks for the thorough and In-Depth reply! The way you've described it makes me really love the exhaust, I can get the exhaust and pick it up for $1,185 so I might go ahead and get it and install it myself. You where a massive help.

Thank you!
