?'s about mk3 after having a mk1

I picked up my nieces '13 se hatch for a couple of bucks when she took a job out of the country. I drove a mk1 two-door hatch for a while a few years ago. I was just wondering about some of your experience related to the following that are new to me from the mk1 I had.

My first questions is if replacing the passenger side motor mount was just automatically done with the DCT service? This one looks brand new and I wasn't sure if it was a band-aid for the vibration caused by the DCT issue before they decided to address it.

I really liked the improvement I got from going to the poly bushings in the 'dog bone' torque mount in the mk1. I'm not seeing where that's available for the regular gas 2.0 for the mk3. Is it just not an issue with this new version of the torque mount?

When parked and idling, I have a loud loose rattle sound from the passenger side of the motor. (which is why I checked and noticed the new motor mount) I'm assuming it's the water pump, because it's a similar sound I've had on other cars. Do these wear out or fail often? Was it quiet to start with? Is my focus running hotter than most if the temp gauge is about 2/3 the way to the red during normal driving?

My mk1 was loud and rattled for a while thanks to the motor mounts and dry rot tires. I'm cool paying a few hundred bucks for what is a essentially a comfortable, spotless car, inside and out, that tends to shake sometimes when pulling away from a stop. I guess I'm really trying to identify this loose rattle and also see if this car actually had the DCT 'fix' done or not.

Thanks!!!!!!!

Some parts dont really change much from model to model, just check the same shops you used for you mk2 and see if there is any cross model same part #'s.
