Catalytic Converter Replacement

Hey guys - my focus is in need of a new catalytic converter and before purchasing I was wondering if anyone had any info. I saw some say it's necessary to buy OEM but i'm also told direct fit's will be fine. Has anyone recently changed theirs? Any problems with an upgrade?

In Cali your only option is probably going to be OEM.

You may want to check with the dealer as the cat could still be under warranty.
