Headliner rear 2 button fasteners won't come out

There are 2 button fasteners on the rear of the headliner of my 2012 SEL that will not come out no matter what. Fastener pliers, hose needle nose pliers, plastic fastener various sizes. Has anyone ever taken one out. Trying to replace my antenna base. Any help appreciated. The one thread on this says pop em off and that's it. Wish it were.

Solved the problem. Got them out with a puller. I thought I would wreck something but it worked. My new antenna based worked too. Radio acts like new.
