My thought is that if I want to open the throttle body a little more, my foot works just fine.

Air box tube delete is ok but I had to keep the cover on to lock my KNN filter. Eventually I will hose clamp it and complete the delete. Last mod would be to add the RS air box.

Noticed that the sound is awesome with the box open. Gotta love the purr sound

Nice wallet lightening mod. It does not make the car any faster than simply going WOT sooner would also accomplish. It also robs pedal response beyond a certain point where it has already tricked the PCM into going WOT where as the linear pedal map would have allowed for more precise control.

Cool Gas & WOT are Parallel performance - one does not inhibit the other!!!

$250 out the door is far from a lightening mod for cost. But as a non FLASH and factory safe mod its fantastic.

Applied gas and Wide Open Throttle are parallel in linear equality and NO response is lost; its even better at the top end. Crack a book open or watch other people's video performance checks of the JMS PedalMax and it's good.

In fact depending on how gas is applied (non lead foot) you reduce factory pedal lag and increase the throttle response to correct factory bog at start or initial roll.

At the top end this device is stellar is comparison to OEM Settings.

In addition it still retards the motor when needed during long commutter travel (not with snorkel delete) and makes great gas efficiency better than most if not ALL Flash mods.

Installed right from the start and even when the car adjusted for WOT and PCM adjustment via PM, the car handles well.

SAFE MOD HATERS! can't beat this SE off the line anymore.

Except that's not how this works, you don't truly "eliminate lag" by plugging in something that interferes with pedal signal.

It doesn't eliminate lag so much as command a greater throttle position than the driver actually requested giving the illusion of crisper throttle response.

Thus performance at WOT is unaffected however that was not what I said before, which was that WOT is now at some pedal value less than 100% to the floor when the throttle has been opened all the way sooner to give the illusion of better response for the time that it works until the PCM detects the error and either throws a MIL or retunes around it to ignore the spoofed signal if not getting the throttle jammed on due to the faulty signal.

The OEM calibration is tuned for safe and efficient operation for the life of the vehicle and they do not test for the effects of electrical interference from deliberate attempts to modify the signal thus if it was determined that something had caused the computer to go haywire it's still not nearly as warranty friendly or safe as you think. People have reported issues in using these devices in other vehicles before so YMMV.

Does not change the boost level, all this device does is tell the PCM to open the throttle body 40% when the pedal is depressed 20%.

Per Lethal Performance on the Focus RS as I've said before it does nothing more than open the throttle more than requested.

If you're enjoying it fine, but it's you who doesn't understand what it's doing.

You are quoting the responses for an RS not an SE.
I do know what I am experiencing and it states on the website that is reduces acceleration lag.
We are also talking about two different vehicles. Find another review with significant evidence it doesn't do what it says on the website:

Enhance low and mid-range horsepower and torque.

Increase throttle response & make your vehicle easier to drive.

Eliminate stalling when accelerating from a stop on manual vehicles.

Improves vehicle acceleration.

Eliminate Pedal Lag...These are all the things I stated and confirmed just by installing and doing my own assessment.
