Well I guess my next question would be what other cool feature could I look at possibly enabling?

What I gather from that is that if you were to get the door modules and one touch up / down switch controller from an SEL / Ti and installed them in your car, there might be a chance of getting global open/close to work...

And replace all your switches, and rewire everything. Other stuff like the puddle lights, turn signal mirrors, heated mirrors are all routed through the door module in upper trim modules.

The window switches between a door module car and without:

My dongle showed up today but my girlfriend decided to lay her laptop under her rocking chair and now the screen is shattered........ sooooo global open /close will have to wait :(

That sucks. In a situation like that I would lug my desktop out to the car. Oh and then I would have to get a VGA to composite video converter so I could use MFT as a monitor... but that's just me and my ocd.
