I'm a little over 140,000 on my 2012 manual. Original clutch. And they have not been easy miles. Haven't had to fix anything but the radio, steering wheel trim, and the washer res cap.
Only thing I need to figure out is how to keep the e-brake handle from slipping.

Dang, that's bad news for me. I paid for FMPP and get a clutch replacement if it goes before 200,000 KM. It looks like they last longer than that.

I'm a bit hard on my clutch and like to downshift a bit to control speed so I guess I'd be happy with anything over 70k miles.

The only issues we've had was a a bad AC compressor bearing at 90 miles and an update of both information screens. Even got the 4 way info screen with the update.

Ready to trip 100K tomorrow (I think!). Going on 6 years with my 2013 manual. Been a great car, really no drama. It's going to be our third car for my son that just turned 16 and he has learned how to drive the stick really well. I'm going to likely add a VW Golf Sportwagen to our family's stable.

It's horrible and it drives me to drink.

I grew tired of complaining [online] since it didn't really solve anything. I gave ford the benefit of the doubt that they'd be able to fix it during my 125k mile warranty but that didn't happen so now it's my problem. I don't feel like having another car payment so I've just been living with it grinding/scraping for 7 years. Might get the clutch replaced, might trade it in - haven't really decided yet. I was hoping it'd get totaled but I keep driving evasively.

So...it's the original clutch pack and TCM? I'm seriously impressed it is.

New TCM (out of pocket) at 160k or so - I'd have to look it up. 4th clutch pack (old Rev F, not new Rev B)

Iím on the fence with my DCT because I donít trust it. Iíve already had one clutch replacement & a new TCM & my car has only 35k miles, itís a 2013. In your opinion, do you think my car will have further transmission issues down the line? Itís constantly shuddering & sputtering around + the grinding noise comes & goes. Also, These cars seem to have little trade in value since the auto industry is well aware of their reliability issues. I like the STís, but Iíd really prefer not to daily drive a manual & also that would cost me another 10-12k out of pocket + a trade-in.
