Got our SE last day of February 2013 - just turned 32K, that includes 2 trips totaling 6500 miles.

As for on-topic, it's been exactly 2 weeks since taking delivery of my '14 SE. I forgot to reset the trip on the last fillup. I'm getting about 430 miles on a tank, local brand 90 octane, 95+% highway miles.
i drive about 80% city, dont have use for the interstate as my work is only 7 miles away. And I've been using 87 octane since new.

And after I got home, my roommate rolled into her.

And of course he doesn't have insurance. (Sorry it's a bad picture, my HTC One bricked itself and now I'm stuck with my 4 year old phone for several weeks)

Just a little. He's a mechanical engineer too, so luckily he has enough money to pay it. He's just stingy and doesn't think he should be (legally) required to pay for insurance.

I'm just worried he's going to try to cheap out and get like a $100 repair when it should obviously be fixed professionally.

The bumper and quarter panel were both hit, so they'll both need the gouges fixed and to be painted/blended and both panels fully clear coated. The car is pretty new, so I don't expect there to be too many issues with paint fade. What do you guys think cost-wise? $500-$1000? Or more?

If you plan on replacing both and painting them you are easily over a grand.

But there are options for filling the gouges without replacing the panels, right? I don't personally know how well they hold up, though.
