Road noise, Mytouch and transmission issues

My transmission started acting weird and seemed confused at times. Then the MyTouch display went dead. So to the dealership I go. My car was built in June of 2011 and had not been in the dealership for anything other than a minor dash defect that was fixed. I have 6K on it. I am also bothered by a lot of road noise.

The dealer confirmed that my MyTouch screen was dead. The dealer performed programming per TSB 11-07-29. One of the service guys says Ford is having a lot of problems with the Mytouch system.

The dealer confirmed my transmission wasn't shifting right. They reprogrammed the PCM per TSB 06. They didn't provide the whole TSB number, just 06.

The dealer confirmed the high road noise. They replaced the right front axle shaft and RF wheel bearing.

If you are having any of these issues, I believe Ford's service database is gaining traction for dealership service department to rightly embrace owners complaints.

Results: Mytouch display seem to have more features and there are some small but better improvements. It is not what we expect to see with the major update coming in February.

I am digging the improved road noise and don't get the clanking noise when hitting minor bumps.
