Mine says 28.4 but it's almost all city and hasn't been reset in a couple of years. If I jump on the hwy after a reset It'll get close to 40mpg but that's not really a reflection of the car's true MPGs over a few tanks.

My MK3.5 was purchased used. An Oxford 2016 SE Hatch that was a fleet vehicle. Only 33,8xx on the clock as of purchase.
Other than the essentials ,(sunroof and backup camera) it's pretty plain for the trim.
That just means I possibly have more routes of modding.
Dont have a buttload of money (why I got SE instead of Titanium) so my mods will take awhile, but never ever ever ever ever ever be equivalent to that guy who decks his car out in that "R" brand from AutoZone.
I come to this forum for technical advice and mod ideas.
Quite pleased there are sites like these (to help me out)..
Anywho, I love the way the car drives and responds. I love getting 35.7 MPG Hwy. I love filling the tank and it telling me 282 mi. til empty, lol. I enjoy to comfort it offers.
I would say I love the sound system but those are papercone speakers and my new Rockforts and Sonys are waiting to be installed. No fogs but those (and the OEM switch) are about to be ordered. 2.0 I4, no turbo.
(Wife has a 13 Escape with the 2.0 EcoBoost & 4WD if I need to blast off)
So yeah, overall, I love this car thus far (bought 2 Saturdays ago)...

Very nice man, sounds like me when I got my car (pre used). A good CAI and rear engine mount will do you well. You will spend about $350 total but it's a night and day difference especially with what you seem to want out of your Focus. Now once you hear your engine sounding a little
More aggressive you will find your MPG dropping bc you can't keep your foot off the gas.

Wow! I've NEVER got that kinda mileage. Is this all highway driving at like 65 mph?

Plus one on premium gas!! That makes a surprising difference!!

I love my car in so much as it's been reliable, fast, cheap, and easy to fix (usually).

Well that and I work at Ford, so when I really get pissed about something I just go find people and complain to them in person.
