Exterior seems tamed down considerably from earlier pictures---somewhat reminds me of an earlier Taurus.

I don't believe the exterior is tamer - those shots are of the wagon. The hatch is shorter and looks sportier, as other photos have shown.

we had a new sedan 4 door at work a few weeks back and a but a year ago a new cruise the Focus was multi colored but didn't give alot of people the wow factor Hopefully the Focus will be better in a nice color and rims.Cruise was pretty cool.

You'll be making about the same WHP, without most of the tech, or a ton of the other parts, how exactly will that be better? Are you putting in an LSD and clutch? Are you doing a rear disc conversion, and any front brake upgrade? Upgraded sways? Are you installing a new interior? Does your car come with a full warranty after the turbo? I could go on.
