Mounture Alloy Intercooler

Has anyone looked into the Mountune Alloy Intercooler Upgrade for the 1.0L Ecoboost Fiesta? From the picture, it looks to be the same size and shape as the stock intercooler found on our cars.

The mountune alloy intercooler features pressed aluminium end tanks and a larger, extruded tube core which increases the surface area by 13.6%. This, together with a high density fin design ensures the best possible performance in the limited space available, giving a marked improvement in both air charge temperature (ACT) and pressure drops, ensuring optimum charge air temperature and therefore power, is available from the EcoBoost engine

So, is that a yes or a no that it'll work for the Focus 1.0 Ecoboost?

I have no idea if it will work but with a recently acquired Bluetooth ob2d adapter I know under normal driving that my intake air temps vs outside air temps only differ 3-5 degrees. Also during overboost I push 18-19 psi in 1-5th gear and for whatever reason up to 22 psi in sixth gear. Max boost outside of overboost is 14-15 psi.

But ambient temp vs intake temp only being off by 3-5 degrees is good right? With out doing major mods to car I doubt an upgraded intercooler would really do much on this car.

Again idk if it will fit, mountune says no. But anything can fit into anything if you are good with your hands.

I have one in my Fiesta 1.0. It works well in reducing charge temps. But I'm in a place that's always hot. Easy install also. I'm running the Bluefin Stage 1 tune and all the Mountune hoses plus hard pipe, K&N panel filter.

The endtanks are different. Charge piping would have to be fabricated.
