Stuck rear brakes
Just before Christmas I bought a new Escape since it was close to when I planned to do it and my front wheel bearing was making that noise.
I parked the car on my property, put a battery tender on it and today I decided to move it. Won't move. Thought it was because the tires settled into the lawn. I jacked it up, put boards under the tires and it still won't move.
Eventually I figured out that the rear drums and brake shoes are stuck. No, I did not set the parking brake. The car spent a winter w/o moving.
How do I free up the drums? As long as I can get it to roll on to a toy hauler to dispose of it, I'm good with it.
