Passenger mirror, front cover and inside trim removal pics

Just a few pictures of the different parts to hopefully help someone avoid breaking clips and know how some of them are attached. Note that the outside front cover is not really designed to just pull off. You'll have to get at the tabs behind the mirror if you don't want to break them.

My '08 S model doesn't have power mirrors, but are adjusted with spring cables. Last summer before it turned cold, one at a time, the tabs on the inside covers just broke spontaneously, because of the tension the cables put on them. To replace them was like $40 apiece IIRC, thank goodness the dealer could still order them. Rather than disassemble the mirror and door to get the cable through the cover, I just cut the cover at its narrowest point and slid the cables through. Can hardly see the cut unless you're looking for it. If it happens again, out comes the drill and I'll attach the inside covers with sheet metal screws. Great design, Ford.
