removing just the badge, not the whole emblem

So i have seen threads with how to debadge the front grill, but i still want the badge on, but want to remove it from the old grill and put on the new one. The only issue is i cannot tell what is holding it onto the original grill.. seems like there are two nuts, but they dont attach to any part of the grill. There are 2 metal clips, but they dont budge, so i am lost. Does anyone know how to remove it?

I did a full badge removal on my own and rebuilt with out any badge just the two bar design. But when I removed the badge portion I saw what you are describing that there are two plastic nuts that thread on to the back of the actual ford badge and once you remove those you can remove the ford badge from the grill itself. I look to see if I kept them but I may have chucked those in the garbage since the badge didn't match the changes I had made on the exterior aesthetic. The ford badge had been blue chrome and you could still see the ford logo just the whole badge was blue chrome look.
