08 fog light dissasembly

Alright so I want to install plasma led halo rings into my fog lights bulbs but I don't know if I can even take them apart? Does anyone on here have any info? Or am I netter off just removing the whole housing and making something to house the led ring on its own? I'm not sure, any info anyone has would be awesome thanks!

The plastic black area around the fog lights snaps off (carefully) and I think it's a 7mm socket with a drive to get off the 4 bolts on each side. After that, unplug the bulb or remove bulb from housing, and your fog lights should slip right out, do one at a time so you don't switch them up and the bulb size is h11 in case you needed that
