I was thinking about removing the grill insert and placing a blue radiator shilled in there before I got my turbo kit ( witch I haven't touched ). I would look into doing something like that

Yeah, still haven't actually figured out how it comes out, when I put my led lights in, I thought they piped out individually, and spend a good hour stumped by those things, ended up cutting them up to fit the lights, which is why I wanted to do this grille in the first place!

Just go in with a grinder blade from the back & file everything down with a small sanding tip. Fill in the space in the inside with whatever filler you choose and smoothen it out & paint
