LED Daytime Running Lights

I have a 2008 without fog lights. I'd like to install LED daytime running lights in the non-fog light bezel. Oznium has a waterproof unit that works on a 12v system. I'd like the units to go on when I start the engine so I need a wire that's connected to the ignition. Problem is I'm "electrically challenged". Can anybody advise me as to the most straightforward way to make the connections? I read an article that DRL's are required in Canada and some European country's, and are expected to become increasingly popular here. I'd like to get there ahead of the crowd and front off some Audi's. As always, thanks in advance.

I know it's not the right place for me to ask this question but does anyone know if there is a same LED kit for the 3rd generation Focus?? I saw some Youtube videos of the Euro versions of the 2012 Focus and it looks like their version comes with the LED lights located above the front head lights. I think the LED looked really nice and adds a nice touch to the car.

The problem with led kits is that they are not very bright. If you see an audi, volt, or prius with leds they are extremely bright must be 3-5 watt bulbs. You wont get that from any of the aftermarket vendors. Ive searched. I was to the point of making my own and ordered some loose bulbs that were supposed to be 1watt each but they were still dim. I was gonna make a corona ring that followed the shape of the headlight housing

With all the talent and experience on this board someone has to know a good IGN wire to splice into. It's really not straightforward for me, honest. Please take a moment ot two and help a guy out. All suggestions gratefully received. Thanks.

The only way I know if so far is to buy DRL's like phillips for a ton of cash that come with ballast-like boxes for converting the light output.

There is a start/run fuse under the hood. That is what I used to run my led's for months before I decided to get rid of them. With such a low power draw it didn't harm anything. When the key turned on, the led's came on.
