yeah, there is a lot of room if you cut out the plastic which is thin anyway.

See the metal parts behind the plastic? What's up with the spotted rusting on them already


I think I want to put a box there so I can hide my stuff in my car. Just hopefully I wouldn't forget about it lol

Yeah, that's a good question, but it is not unusual. My car looks exactly the same, and has from day one. Get under your dash with a flash light and take a look. You'll probably find the same thing.

I know my car already has it, it wasn't like that when I first got it
I got it 2 weeks after it left the plant according to the date it was built

The 2nd glovebox thing should be doable I was screwing around at the Toyota dealership when I brought my moms car in for service and I noticed a bunch of their new cars have either a small glove box about 1/2-1/3 the size of the big one under it
or they have a little cubby hole there

just wire it for power and enjoy little LED lights.
