Question How do I remove the E-Brake handle

I bought an e-brake handle but can't figure out how to remove the stock handle...someone said I have to cut it but how....(I know "With a sharp object like a knife ) my how is actually not how but what...see there is white plastic under the blk cover...do I need to be careful not to cut it or what....help....

Here, this may help.

Sounds like damaging the white plastic is nothing to fear.

thanks for the info and sorry for the belated thanks...I went right out and cut it off (the ebrake cover that is...I'm not Lorena Bobbit ) anywhoo, I also took the cf dash off the radio bezel surround and I think it looks much better...I'll post pics when I can.... Boy, this sure has been a real productive sick day I had..

I went through mine with a dremel cut-off wheel, only took a few seconds. I got the OEM Ford R/s collection ebrake handle, and it came with instructions showing to cut it with a utility knife.

Thanks again Amanda for the info.....and about removing the dash kit....after getting blisters on my fingers trying to remove the sticky, I finally got the ol' blow dryer out and man did it make a difference....crap came right off.... Let me know what ya think...

Wow it looks much better now I think! The e-brake handle looks really nice with the AC knobs and the return to a silver stereo surround, well done.

Glad to have been of help to you, and that you got a less-painful way of removing the dash kit!
